Bio

Christine Melody is a singer-songwriter and solo artist born and raised on the south-side of Chicago, IL. She made her Official debut in 2016 at a well-known music venue in Berwyn, IL called "Fitzgerald's nightclub" for their annual American Music Festival . Christine has made her rounds around the Chicago Music scene playing at various venues such as Uncommon Ground, Gallery Cabaret, Elbo Room and many more well known places in the Chicago land area; she even performed lived in the All State Skyline Studios on WGN Radio in late April of 2019.

She would later self released her Debut EP October 13th , 2019 called "Monologue of a Dead Girl's Broken Heart", songs she says that were inspired by Netflix T.v. show called "You".

Christine said that she just related to these fictional characters with real life problems and that was one of the main reasons for her writing the songs .  She Also said "I think that's why people like the T.v. show so much, they see a little bit of themselves in those characters. You don't always win the lottery when it comes to love and sometimes you just end up in a bad relationship, Love can make you blind to the warning signs , gotta love the drama of love right? ."

Later on down the road she would once again release more music another Ep called "If The Moment Ever Comes Again"  back in November of 2021 . She said this album came about during the middle of the pandemic. "I just had too much time on my hands like most people and it gave me time to reflect on my own inner thoughts and desires ." Christine said this album is a little more personal Its about the idea of love and trying to obtain it and possibly losing it in the end to maybe one day regain it again in the future if paths were to cross again, hence the ep's title .

Christine has a style that is very much her own ;She is a mixture of all things she said  "I don't wish to be confined or labeled as one thing; Yes, my roots are very much folk and as a songwriter, I should be able to explore and express myself freely in any genre I see fit. One day I might write a pop song, another day I might write a country song; I guess what I am trying to say is that I think music is very magical and you can't contain magic."
